Bringing the Gospel to the Poor

In Mexico, material poverty cannot conceal a deep hunger for the Word of God. Many believers live under difficult circumstances, yet they long to be rooted in truth and renewed by the Holy Spirit. Former gang members and drug addicts have been transformed by the gospel and now serve humbly as pastors—lives radically changed by God’s grace. God’s love is at work across this land, healing broken hearts and restoring hope. Through the power of the gospel, despair gives way to new life, and communities are being renewed by the transforming love of Christ.

Ministry Overview

Spring of Water International Ministries partnered with EMCI to host a Discipleship Bible Study-Book of Ruth seminar in Mexico in July 2025. This training brought God’s Word into remote areas, helping believers take root in truth and build lives grounded in Scripture. Local church leaders shared testimonies of God’s redemption and renewal, bearing witness to lives transformed by the gospel. This mission trip not only provided deep spiritual nourishment, but also allowed the team to experience firsthand how God’s love transcends language and culture—uniting people of different backgrounds in the Holy Spirit to joyfully testify to the expansion of His Kingdom.

Urgent Local Needs

Many churches in Mexico lack discipleship materials and study resources. SOWIM is raising funds for the printing and distribution of these materials:

  • $50 — prints 5 study guides
  • $150 — launches training for one local church
  • $250 — provides resources for an entire congregation

We invite you to partner with us through your giving—bringing the Bread of Life to hearts that hunger, and allowing God’s Word to continue transforming lives.
